Participate in any one or all of the competitions & win the prizes. The Competition will start on 28th November 2020 & end on 2nd June, 2020. The results will be declared on the 5th June 2021 on the occasion of the World Environment Day.

Aims & Objectives
This international competition will facilitate sharing of experiences including successes, challenges & lessons learned & provide political leadership, guidance and recommendation for effective implementation & follow up.
We are happy to launch an International Competition ” Global Solutions to Global Problems” through Sustainable Development Goals. The Agenda 2030 came into effect from 1st January , 2020 & aims to achieve social inclusion, economic prosperity and environmental sustainability by 2030 by strengthening universal peace, eradicating poverty & protecting our planet through bold and transformative steps and engaging countries and stakeholders & acting in collaborative partnership with the pledge that no one should be left behind. More than 5 years passed since we adopted the universal resolution ” Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Some countries & communities made marvelous progress on SDGs and few countries are lagging behind. This competition will help global community in getting the knowledge of the global solutions which have emerged throughout the world in the process of Sustainable Development Goals. These solutions will be identified by the participants & will be presented in one or all of the forms like video making, power point making, quiz, quiz making, drawing, speech & article or blog writing.

Six Themes & 38 Sub-themes
Rules & Regulations
- Create original video clip of about 5-7 minutes relevant to one of the six thematic areas.
- Submit your entry through the online submission option in the assignment section as a video link.
- Video can also be uploaded to YouTube and link can be shared.
- Good quality and effective videos containing clear message which will help in protecting environment and achieving sustainable development goals may contain text, speech, conversation sound effects and music.
Submission deadline: 31 March 2021 at 18.00pm
Entry fee is Rs. 100 for each participant. Once registration fees of Rs. 100 is paid the participant can take part in other competitions associated to this competition which will be free of cost.
The competition is open to all the participants from any part of the world. Participants age should be more than 18 years of age. One candidate can submit only one entry.
Participants should have full copyrights of the video and associated materials and video must promote ideas and solutions to the themes and subthemes. Videos which does not follow these guidelines will be rejected. Insulting, violent videos will be rejected.
- Video: The original, high quality and relevant to themes and subthemes video clip could be 5-7 minutes long video clip in the form of link could be submitted in the assignment section. The language of the video should be English.
Selection & copyrights
The final selection of the videos will look into creativity, technicality, and presentation ability. The organisers reserves the right to accept or remove any entries and selection of the winning videos. The participants will reserve all the copyrights, The selected videos will be placed on the website of Society for Environment & Sustainable Development and SESD will reserve the rights to modify these videos.
